Cabinet in cooperation with NATO to conduct training course for officials

As part of the NATO-Ukraine Professional Development Program, Ukraine will host a large-scale training course for officials from 52 government institutions, according to the Government portal.

“Ukrainian civil servants engaged in Euro-Atlantic integration in government institutions have a good level of professional knowledge. But there was always a serious lack of public speaking skills, presentations and English skills. This year, for the first time, we are organizing in synergy with NATO a large-scale training to enhance such skills for professionals of 52 Ukrainian state institutions,” Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmytro Kuleba said.

Kuleba has noted that the course is intended for civil servants who deal with the issues of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. The best NATO experts, as well as Ukrainian experts will be involved.

The training course will be held as part of the Champions 100 project organized by the NATO-Ukraine Program for the Professional Development of Civilian Personnel in the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine (Professional Development Program) in cooperation with the Government Office for Coordination. The participants will receive certificates after the completion of the course.

The Programme is carried out within Comprehensive Assistance Package to Ukraine, which was approved at the Warsaw Summit of NATO on July 9, 2016 in response to Russia's aggression against Ukraine to assist Ukraine in implementing its key reforming priorities in the security and defense sectors and to achieve compatibility with NATO forces.
