International festival of Ukrainian culture held in Israel
The ninth International Festival of Ukrainian Culture was held in Haifa, Israel, on December 25, the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel wrote on its official Facebook page.
“Holding the Festival for the ninth consecutive year demonstrates the high interest in Ukrainian culture in Israel and promotes the image of Ukraine and preservation of cultural values," said Mykola Taranenko, Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in the State of Israel.
The concert program featured artists from Ukraine and Israel, as well as winners of the III International Ukrainian Song Contest.
The event was organized by the Folk Theater “Tupuah Bedwash” under the direction of Olena Geyko with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel, the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration of the State of Israel and the Haifa Municipality.
