Summer 2020: Wizz Air plans 650 additional flights

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the opening of ticket sales for flights from Ukraine which will be performed during the 2020 summer season.

It will start on March 29 and end on October 25, 2020, avianews.com reports.

"Next summer, Wizz Air plans to fly from Ukraine on 55 routes to 13 countries, including on two new routes from Kharkiv and Lviv to Budapest which will be launched in June 2020," the statement reads.

The capacity will increase by 7% compared to the 2019 summer season. In quantitative terms, this will account for additional 118,000 seats or 650 flights.

Now Wizz Air flies from three Ukrainian cities: Kyiv, Kharkiv and Lviv. In November, the airline will resume direct flights from Odesa after an 11-year pause. The flights will be operated on six routes to Berlin, Budapest, Gdansk, Katowice, Wroclaw and Bratislava.
