Government allocates over UAH 41 mln to small cities for cultural projects – Groysman

In 2019, 74 Ukrainian towns will receive UAH 41.3 million in budget funds for implementing cultural ideas within the project “Small Cities - Big Impressions”.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote about this on Twitter.

"This year, 182 participants from all over Ukraine took part in the project, 74 of whom won. They will receive a total of UAH 41.3 million in budget funds for implementing their cultural ideas,” he wrote.

The prime minister has added that the largest number of project’s winners is from Lviv and Odesa regions - each region has 8 winners.

The project “Small Cities - Big Impressions” was launched last year. It is funded from the state budget; its purpose is to support cultural ideas in small towns and united territorial communities.
