Chrystia Freeland meets with Ukrainian community in Canada

Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland has held meeting with representatives of the Ukrainian community.

In a post on Twitter, she wrote: “Was great to share ideas on the upcoming Ukraine Reform Conference in Toronto next week with members of the Ukrainian-Canadian community in Saskatchewan & discuss how Canada can continue to support Ukraine in realizing its ambitious democratic and economic reforms”.

As a reminder, the Ukraine Reform Conference will be held in Toronto in July. Similar events took place in Copenhagen and London, in 2018 and 2017 respectively. The main purpose of the conference is to tell international partners about Ukraine’s achievements in implementing systemic reforms, as well as outline further directions of cooperation and practical assistance to Ukraine on this path.
