Ukrainian doctors participate in International Military Rehabilitation Symposium in Estonia

Representatives of the military medical institutions from the United States, Great Britain, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Romania and Ukraine took part in the International Military Rehabilitation Symposium in Tallinn, according to the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

"East-Tallinn Central Hospital (Tallinn, Estonia) hosted the International Military Rehabilitation Symposium, which was attended by representatives of the military medical institutions from the United States, Great Britain, Estonia, Georgia, Lithuania, Romania and Ukraine. During the event, methods of rehabilitation of wounded and injured soldiers in different countries was represented, as well as prospects for development in face of existing challenges," reads the report.

In particular, a rehabilitation clinic at East Tallinn Central Hospital was represented to participants, which meets rehabilitation standards of advanced countries and was opened in cooperation with the U.S. European Command and the Government of Estonia. During the symposium, it was also agreed to enhance support to the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in developing the system of rehabilitation of soldiers injured in the Joint Forces Operation area.
