Over 60% of Ukrainians ready to vote at referendum for joining EU, 53% for joining NATO - poll

Some 62% of Ukrainians are ready to vote at a referendum for their country's accession to the EU and 53% for accession to NATO, according to a survey conducted by the Rating group between May 29 and June 3, 2019.

The poll shows that if the referendum on accession to the EU took place today, 62% of respondents would vote for Ukraine's joining the EU, 22% would vote against it, 4% would not vote at all, and 12% refused to answer.

If the referendum on accession to NATO were held today, 53% of respondents would vote for Ukraine's joining the alliance, 31% would vote against it, 14% would not vote at all, and 2% were undecided.

A total of 2,000 respondents aged over 18 years were polled during face-to-face interviews. The poll's margin of error does not exceed 2.2%.
