Weather forecasters warn of heavy rain and ground frosts in Ukraine

On May 8-9, ground frosts are expected in western regions of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.

"On the night of May 8-9, ground frosts of 0°C… -3°C are expected in western regions. On May 7-9, weather forecasters warn of air frost of 0°C… -3°C in the Carpathian mountains," the report reads.

In addition, on May 7, heavy rain and wind gusts of 15-20 m / s are expected in western regions of Ukraine, snow and rain mixed – in the Carpathians.
