Horlytsia dance ensemble from U.S. decently represents Ukraine at multicultural event in Illinois

Horlytsia Ukrainian Dance Ensemble from the United States has decently represented Ukraine as part of a multicultural event at a school in Palatine (Illinois), according to the Facebook page of the ensemble.

"Ukrainian dances from Horlytsia have become a brilliant example of cultural diplomacy among many nationalities (representatives of Brazil, Ireland, Mexico, China, Japan, Poland, India, and others)," the post reads.

It notes that around 300 guests of the evening met the ensemble with applause, helped themselves to traditional Ukrainian dishes and learned more about Ukraine.

"Horlytsia has proudly celebrated the International Dance Day on stage!" the post reads.

Horlytsia Ukrainian Dance Ensemble was founded at the St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral of Kyiv Patriarchate in Bloomingdale (Illinois). The ensemble's choreographer is Viacheslav Tikhonov.
