Wizz Air launches flights from Kyiv to Bremen, Riga and Billund

Hungary's low cost airline Wizz Air started to operate flights on Kyiv-Bremen, Kyiv-Riga and Kyiv-Billund routes.

As the Centre for Transport Strategies reports, the first flight to Bremen took off from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) at 11:08 on March 2 and arrived in the German city at 12:38 local time. The return flight took off from Bremen at 13:24 and arrived in the capital of Ukraine at 16:24.

In March, the flights will be operated on Mondays and Fridays, and starting from April - on Tuesdays and Saturdays (twice a week).

Flight to Riga is performed by Airbus A320. It arrives in Riga at 12:35, a return flight lands in Kyiv at 14:45.

Kyiv-Riga flights will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays. In addition, in March, July and August, the flights will be also performed on Thursdays every week. In other months, the flights on Thursdays will be performed 1-2 times per month. Starting from October, there are no flights on Thursdays in the schedule.

Moreover, Wizz Air also launches flights from Kyiv to Billund. This Danish city is known for the Legoland amusement park.

The first flight to Billund is scheduled for 15:30. The return flight arrives in Kyiv at 21:00. The flights to Billund will be operated on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
