About 69% of population of Ukraine lives in united territorial communities — Zubko

A total of 69% of the population of Ukraine lives in the united territorial communities, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko has said.

"About 69% of the population already lives in the united territorial communities. However, 2,369 territorial communities have not yet agreed promising plans. And 99 districts do not have any united territorial community," he noted.

According to Zubko, the first task for the Government is to make long-term plans for the creation of territorial communities that will 100% cover the territory of Ukraine.

As of today, 806 united territorial communities were created in Ukraine, and 70 more are waiting for the CEC’s decision to hold the first election.
