The state should always maintain a dialogue with the church and form a common vision of the future.

"Our common mission now is to develop the state and spirituality as the faith is the foundation, on which we can build well-being and prosperity. I believe that this can be done through a dialogue," Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said at the meeting with Head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC), His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, the Government portal reports.

According to Groysman, the meetings of the representatives of public authorities and the clergy help to outline the common steps for the development of the country and better understand the current tasks and further cooperation.

In turn, the Head of the UGCC underscored the importance of development of partnership with the government bodies. Each dialogue and meeting in this context is "an opportunity to serve for the common good of our people and our state," Shevchuk noted.
