Ukraine to open three more consulates in Poland

Ukraine may soon open the consulate general in Wroclaw and two honorary consulates in the cities of Katowice and Kielce.

"Ukrainian citizens often apply to the honorary consulates that do not have an authority to perform all consular activities. In this context, there is an obvious need to open another consular office of Ukraine in western Poland, in Wroclaw, which would allow redistributing the limits of consular districts so that citizens of Ukraine would spend no more than two or three hours to get to a consulate," Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland Andriy Deshchytsia said in an interview with Ukrinform.

The preparatory measures are planned to be held in 2019 in order to open the consulate general in Wroclaw as early as in 2020.
