In London, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine launch a month-long campaign in response to the escalation of Russian aggression.

As an Ukrinform correspondent learnt from the Patriots of Ukraine Worldwide Movement, the campaign will be held three hours a day on the Downing Street, near the office of the UK's Prime Minister.

The organizers of the protest, who represent London Euromaidan and London branch of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain, aim to again draw the attention of Europe and the world to Russia's continuing aggression against Ukraine, including an attack the Ukrainian sailors in the Sea of Azov, demand strengthening sanctions against the Kremlin regime and the release of all Ukrainian citizens illegally imprisoned in Russia.

As reported, on November 25, Russian border ships committed the acts of aggression against three Ukrainian ships heading from the port of Odesa to the port of Mariupol. The Russian special forces fired and seized three Ukrainian ships in the Kerch Strait and 24 sailors aboard.

On November 26, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law approving the decree of the President of Ukraine on the imposition of the martial law for 30 days in 10 regions of Ukraine in connection with the aggression of Russia.

A total of 64 Ukrainian political prisoners, including film director Oleg Sentsov and Ukrinform correspondent Roman Sushchenko, are held in Russia and the annexed Crimea.
