State of Connecticut recognizes Holodomor as genocide against Ukrainian people

The State of Connecticut has officially recognized the Holodomor famine in Ukraine of 1932-1933 as genocide against Ukrainian people.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the United States wrote this on Facebook.

“The State of Connecticut has recognized the Holodomor in Ukraine 1932-1933 as the act of genocide against Ukrainian people. The corresponding proclamation was signed by Governor of the State of Connecticut Dannel Malloy,” reads the report.

As Ukrinform reported, 19 U.S. states have already recognized Holodomor as genocide against Ukrainian people.
