Militants move heavy weapons to Luhansk - OSCE

Observers of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine have recorded the deployment of heavy weapons by militants near Russian-occupied Luhansk, the press service of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) has said, with reference to an OSCE SMM report.

"The OSCE SMM team recorded 21 multiple launch rocket systems (BM-21 Grad, 122mm) near Khrustalny (formerly Krasnyi Luch), as well as four self-propelled howitzers (2S1 Gvozdika, 122mm) and four towed howitzers (D-30 Lyagushka, 122mm) near Bile (west of Luhansk)… In addition, SMM monitors observed new weapons for the first time," reads the statement.

The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) notes that the aggressive actions of the Russian occupying forces once again show their firm reluctance to adhere to the Minsk agreements and the desire to continue escalating the conflict in Donbas.
