Groysman promises new quality of medicine in 2-5 years

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that if medical reform continues, Ukrainians will receive a new quality of medicine in two to five years.

He said this at a government meeting on October 24, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Healthcare is in a bad state [...] In fact, we have begun fundamental changes, now it's very hard to feel them. If we continue this medical reform, then in two, three or five years people will receive a new quality of medicine in Ukraine," Groysman said.

He added that it is also important to train professional doctors in higher educational institutions.
