Oleksandr Kuts: 121 inclusive classrooms created in schools in Donbas

In Donetsk region, 16 renewed hub schools and 121 inclusive classrooms are already operating.

Head of Donetsk Military and Civil Regional Administration Oleksandr Kuts stated this at a meeting with journalists in Kramatorsk on October 3, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"In the region, 16 renewed hub schools are already operating, which have the latest equipment. Total renovation of buildings and improvement of adjacent territories have been carried out... As for inclusive education, there are 121 inclusive classrooms, where 187 children with special educational needs are educated,” he said.

He added that all hub schools are accessible to children with special needs.

Kuts also noted that the region planned to open 20 resource centers to support inclusive education, of which seven are already operating.
