Ukraine's highest monument to Prince Volodymyr erected in Kryvy Rih

Ukraine's highest monument to Prince Volodymyr the Great has been erected in Kryvy Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, Channel 5 has reported.

"The height of the new architectural monument is 22 meters. Earlier, on this place there was a monument to Soviet figure Artem. It was dismantled after the Revolution of Dignity in 2014," the statement reads.

The opening of the bronze monument brought together about 1,000 locals, representatives of the clergy, city and district authorities. The cross of the prince will be illuminated at night.
