Moldova pays for rest of Ukrainian children in camp near Chisinau

More than 150 children from Mariupol, Chernivtsi and Ivano-Frankivsk have a rest in the Luceafarul children's camp in the town of Vadul lui Voda (a suburb of Chisinau), 23 kilometers from the Moldovan capital on the coast of the Dniester River.

The camp was visited by Ukrainian diplomats accredited in Moldova and employees of the Moldovan Ministry of Culture, Education and Research, according to an Ukrinform correspondent in Moldova.

"First of all, I would like to thank all those who participated in the implementation of this project - Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip and the leadership of the town of Vadul lui Voda. I want to address special words of gratitude to the leadership of the camp and educators for their hospitality, the creation of conditions and a home atmosphere for the recreation and rehabilitation of Ukrainian children," Ukrainian Ambassador to Moldova Ivan Hnatyshyn said.

The diplomat spoke about the situation in Ukraine, the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation. He said that Ukraine would cope with all difficulties and live in a family of free European peoples.
