Kubiv instructs to create working group to resolve situation in tourism market

First Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Stepan Kubiv has instructed to create a working group to resolve the situation in the tourism market.

He said this at a meeting on the settlement of the situation in the tourism market, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine reported.

In particular, Stepan Kubiv instructed to create the working group that will develop proposals for amendments to the current legislation in the following areas: strengthening of licensing requirements for tour operator activities; creation of an effective mechanism for the implementation of legal liability of tour operators to tourists; increase in the size of financial support of tour operators; establishment of administrative responsibility of tourism entities for violation of legislation in the field of tourism and others.

As Ukrinform reported, from June 29 hundreds of Ukrainian tourists have been stuck in airports of several countries. For several hours, or even days, people were waiting at the airports of Tunisia, Albania, Georgia, as well as at the Kyiv airport. Bravo Airways explained the delays of flights for several days by non-payment of funds by the tour operator. The latter did not recognize its guilt. As of July 3, all tourists, whose flights were delayed, have already arrived in Ukraine.
