Atlas Weekend kicks off in Kyiv

Atlas Weekend, one of the largest festivals in Eastern Europe, has begun in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, the first day of the festival is free to all those wishing to attend.

This year, the Ministry of Information Policy, the Ministry of Justice, the Kyiv Youth Center and the Youth Project Exchange organized the alley of NGOs for Atlas Weekend guests.

"The Ministry of Information Policy, the Kyiv Youth Center and the Youth Project Exchange bring together those who change this world for the better! Join," the Ministry of Information Policy said.

The festival will last for six days - from July 3 until July 8. More than 200 Ukrainian and foreign singers and bands will perform. Ukrainian stars at the Atlas Weekend include Boombox, Pianoboy, 5'nizza, DakhaBrakha, Alyosha, Oleg Vynnyk, Tayanna, Khrystyna Solovey, and others. Foreign performers include The Chemical Brothers, Martin Garrix, LP, Nothing But Thieves, Skillet, Lost Frequencies, Kadebostany, and others.
