Union of Journalists calls on Groysman to ban rising tariffs for newspaper deliveries

The National Union of Journalists of Ukraine (NUJU) calls on the government to impose a moratorium on any increase in prices for the delivery of published periodicals.

Chairman of the NUJU, Serhiy Tomilenko, sent a letter to Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman with a relevant appeal, the press service of the union reports.

In particular, he explained that due to a significant rise in paper and postal services, most of newspapers turned out to be in a critical situation and are faced with a real threat of closure.

The NUJU proposed the government to fix postal tariffs at the level set on July 1, 2018, Tomilenko said.
