Ukraine, Hungary first ladies to meet in Zakarpattia region

The wives of the Ukrainian and Hungarian presidents, Maryna Poroshenko and Anita Herczegh, will participate in the festive opening of the center for medical and social rehabilitation of children in the village of Rativtsi in Zakarpattia region on June 8, the regional state administration's press service has told an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The solemn opening of the Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation of Children named after St. Michael will be held in the village of Rativtsi in Uzhgorod district on June 8. The wives of the presidents of Ukraine and Hungary, Maryna Poroshenko and Anita Herczegh, will participate in the ceremony," the statement reads.

According to the report, the first ladies of the two countries will also be present at the finish of a charity race, which started in Budapest on June 4 with the purpose of raising funds for the newly built rehabilitation center.

Maryna Poroshenko has already made a working visit to Zakarpattia region this year when she opened an inclusive education center in Uzhgorod last spring.

The first lady of Hungary arrived in Zakarpattia region in the village of Velyka Dobron, where Hungarians live. The purpose of her visit was also charity.
