Dnipropetrovsk region to get UAH 157 mln for development projects in 2018

Head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration Valentyn Reznichenko has said that UAH 157 million from the state budget will be transferred to the region’s united territorial communities for development projects in 2018.

"This year, Dnipropetrovsk region will receive from the state budget one of the largest infrastructure subventions in Ukraine - UAH 157 million," Reznichenko said.

Ha added that communities have two months to submit project applications to the Regional Development Ministry and six months for the realization of initiatives.

Funds will be used to improve the quality of the provision of administrative services, street repairs, the creation of administrative service centers, the reconstruction of social facilities, the introduction of energy technologies, and the purchase of vehicles, Reznichenko said.

Also, this year, united territorial communities may direct subsidies for the major repairs of municipal objects and roads.

Last year, the government allocated UAH 135 million for the united territorial communities in Dnipropetrovsk region. Over the past three years, the region’s united territorial communities have implemented almost 1,000 development projects
