Militants shooting fake videos about Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donbas

Russian occupation forces started filming fake videos in Donetsk region about the Ukrainian army allegedly violating the ceasefire regime in Donbas.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman Maksym Prauta said this at a briefing on Saturday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the Information Confrontation Center of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces in Novocherkassk started preparations for the next cycle of fake anti-Ukrainian video materials in the temporarily occupied territories of the Donbas," Prauta said.

He said that on March 15 and 16, in the villages of the Novoazovsk district in Donetsk region, specialists from this center, with the involvement of militants and military hardware from a military unit of the so-called "first army corps" of the Russian occupation forces, were shooting videos to produce false reports about the Ukrainian side allegedly violating the ceasefire regime.

According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Russian media representatives and so-called "deputies" of Russian occupation administrations were involved in the filming, Prauta said.
