Ukraine, Poland, Belarus to create water trail for tourists

The Sokal District Council (Ukraine) has signed a partnership agreement with representatives of the city of Drohiczyn (Poland) and the city of Drahichyn (Belarus) regarding an international project to create a tourist trail along the Western Bug River.

Another stage in the legalization of the international project for the creation of a tourist route along the Western Bug River took place, the press service of the Sokal District Council reported with reference to the head of the district, Mykola Pasko.

The project will attract EUR 290,000 from the European Union to the sports and tourist infrastructure of the region. Now, the work is underway to prepare project documentation for the construction of a kayak center and an observation tower.

Recall, the Bug Unites Us project will be implemented within the framework of the PL-BL-UA 2017-2020 cross-border cooperation. The aim of the project is to promote kayaking in three countries.
