Foreign Ministry urges Ukrainians to refrain from traveling to Angola

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine recommends Ukrainians to refrain from traveling to Angola because of an outbreak of cholera and an increase in the number of malaria cases.

This has been reported on the website of the Foreign Ministry.

"In connection with the cholera outbreak, as well as a significant increase in the number of malaria cases in the north of the Republic of Angola, particularly in the province of Uige (290 km from the capital city of Luanda), the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry recommends that citizens of Ukraine who plan their trips abroad refrain from visiting the province of Uige until the epidemiological situation returns to normal," the report reads.

The Foreign Ministry urges those Ukrainians who are already in Angola to be careful and comply with the recommendations of local authorities, medical and other competent services.
