Ukrainians of Australia hold protest action "Kick off the dictator, stop Putin”. Photos

The Ukrainian Australians have been the first community to hold a protest action within the framework of the worldwide rally "Kick off the dictator, stop Putin!"

This is reported by an Ukrinform correspondent in Australia.

"We want to remind Australian society that the Russian Federation is an aggressor country that has occupied a part of the territory of the Ukrainian state and wages a war that has already claimed more than 10,000 lives of Ukrainians. That’s why we need to boycott holding of the championship [2018 FIFA World Cup] in Russia," commented the curator of the action in Australia, Natalia Alekhina.

Participants in the protest action in Sydney held a rally in one of the central streets, the Pitt Street. In other cities of Australia, the Ukrainian community held the flash mobs.

On Monday, January 22, Ukrainians and friends of Ukraine in many world countries will hold an action demanding to ban the aggressive Russia from holding the finals of 2018 FIFA World Cup.
