Over 400 civilians killed or wounded due to hostilities in Donbas in 2017 - OSCE

Over 400 civilians were killed and injured as a result of hostilities in eastern Ukraine in 2017.

Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (OSCE SMM) Alexander Hug said this at a briefing on Monday, the press service of the organization reported on Twitter.

"Over 300,000 ceasefire violations recorded in east Ukraine this year, and over 400 civilians killed or injured," he said.

Hug recalled that OSCE member Joseph Stone had also been killed in Donbas.
