Ten militants killed last week - intelligence

Ten militants were killed and 24 more wounded in the area of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in Donbas last week, according to the Ukrainian intelligence.

Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman for ATO issues, Colonel Andriy Lysenko, stated this at a briefing on Monday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"According to the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, the enemy's losses amounted to 34 people last week. Of these, ten were killed, and 24 were wounded," Lysenko said.

According to him, illegal armed groups sustained the greatest losses in the Severodonetsk sector, where the so-called fourth separate infantry brigade lost 11 "hybrid warriors."

"At the same time, despite human losses, the Kremlin is not going to put an end to armed aggression. Last week alone, four railway trains consisting of 69 fuel tanks with a total weight of 4,140 tons, as well as 15 wagons of ammunition with a total weight of about 450 tons, were brought from Russian territory to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine," he said.
