All checkpoints on border with temporarily occupied Crimea resume their work - Slobodian

The Chonhar, Kalanchak and Chaplynka checkpoints on Ukraine's administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea have resumed their operation, an assistant to the head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Oleh Slobodian, has said.

"All checkpoints have already launched their work," Slobodian said.

As reported, from 01.30 on November 1, the occupation services in Russian-annexed Crimea completely stopped the movement of vehicles and pedestrians through the administrative border with the temporarily occupied peninsula. According to NGO Civil Blockade of Crimea, the border was closed due to Russian "anti-terrorist exercises."
