Sumy region receives humanitarian aid from Holland

Sumy region has received 40 tons of humanitarian aid from Holland, which will be distributed among medical and educational institutions of the region.

"We are very pleased with such support from the European community," Chairman of the Sumy Regional Council Volodymyr Tokar said this during a meeting with representatives of the Dutch charity foundation, Stichting Meierijstad Helpt Oost-Europa.

Sumy region received the humanitarian aid from Holland for the second time.

During the meeting, the region leaders and benefactors discussed issues of further cooperation.
