British choir to give benefit concert in Ternopil city to support orphans

Famous British Rock Choir will give benefit concert at the end of the day in Ternopil city to support orphans.

"This initiative was put forward by our fellow countrywoman from Ternopil, conductor of the choir Khrystyna Dmytryk, who has been living in the UK for 17 years already. The benefit concert in the center of Ternopil city will raise money for orphans, the graduates of boarding schools," Andriy Nazarenko, the head of the Future of Orphans regional charity foundation said in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent.

The total number of Rock Choir members reaches 26,000 people in more than 360 locations in the UK. Khrystyna Dmytryk, who participated in Ukraine’s The Voice TV show, currently conducts four choirs in London and other cities in the UK. The British, natives of America, Australia, Ukraine and other European countries are among the participants of this mega choir.

The day before the choir gave the concert in Lviv. About 70 choristers will perform at today’s benefit concert in Ternopil.
