PM Groysman: Over 1.5 million Ukrainians make advantage of Affordable Medicines program

More than 1.5 million Ukrainians have already received medicines to treat cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes and bronchial asthma for free or with small surcharge within the framework of the Affordable Medicines governmental program launched on April 1.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman wrote this on his Facebook page.

"I want to write a few words about the Affordable Medicines program. More than 1.5 million Ukrainians have already taken the opportunity to receive medicines for free or with small surcharge. More than 6,000 pharmacies are involved in the program, and these figures are increasing every day," Groysman said.

The Prime Minister described the Affordable Medicines program as an example of a high-quality and timely state program that allows every Ukrainian in need to receive life-saving medicines.
