Batch of drugs for children with cancer delivered to Ukraine - Suprun

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) provides the supply of four drugs needed for treatment of childhood cancer.

Acting Health Minister of Ukraine Ulana Suprun said this at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"A batch of medicines was delivered today for children with cancer," Suprun said.

The drugs will be distributed among regions in accordance with the stated needs.

The acting minister informed that 98% of medicines and medical products were purchased by means of the state budget 2016, 40% were already delivered to Ukraine.

Final deliveries for 2016 are expected by the end of the summer. Now the Ministry of Health is completing the work on order of 2017, and the agreements with international organizations will be signed next week.
