Members of Ukrainian Cultural Society of Sevastopol hold Pysanka Day

Members of the Ukrainian National Cultural Society of Sevastopol held the Day of Pysanka [painted Easter eggs] on the territory of the children's town "Lukomorye".

"The guests of the event were told about the patterns of Easter eggs in different parts of Ukraine, the symbolism of images on the Easter eggs and the Easter traditions," the correspondent reports.

A master class on Easter egg dyeing was held at the festival. The event was blessed by the priest of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate.
