Klitschko: For two years 37 public parks opened in Kyiv

Over the past two years, the capital authorities have opened 37 new public parks in Kyiv.

Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko said this during a meeting of the Kyiv City Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Over the past two years, we have built 37 public parks in Kyiv, increasing the green area by 30 hectares. And we continue to do this," Klitschko said.

He has urged the members of the Kyiv City Council to support a decision to create eight new public gardens in the capital - in Desniansky, Darnytsia and Obolon districts.
