Ukraine, Czech Republic to deepen scientific cooperation

Ukraine and the Czech Republic will deepen scientific cooperation and establish the joint committee on scientific and technological cooperation.

This is reported by the press service of the Education and Science Ministry of Ukraine.

The agreement on scientific and technological cooperation was signed in Prague on December 19, 2011 between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Czech Republic. However, the agreement must be ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the document to enter into force.

The agreement stipulates that Ukraine and the Czech Republic will jointly train specialists in the field of technology, conduct scientific researches and participate in the international programs. In addition, the sides will exchange scientific and technological information, scientists and will conduct joint workshops, conferences and exhibitions.
