Russians see United States, Ukraine and Turkey as their biggest enemies

Russians believe that the United States, Ukraine and Turkey are the main enemies of their country.

This is evidenced by the latest poll conducted by the Levada Center independent sociological organization, the Vedomosti newspaper reports.

According to the poll, 72% of respondents believe that the US shows the greatest hostility to Russia, Ukraine is ranked second with 48% (versus 37% in 2015) and 29% of Russians believe Turkey to be an enemy of their state (versus 1% in 2015).

As evidenced by the poll, Russia's best friends are Belarus (50%), Kazakhstan (39%) and China (34%).
