Culture minister to attend “Carpathian space” festival

The first working visit of the minister of culture of Ukraine Yevhen Nyshchuk has begun in the Carpathian region, the minister told the Ukrinform’s correspondent in Ivano-Frankivsk city.

"I came to my native land. My first working trip has begun in the Ivano-Frankivsk region," said the government official.

The minister has confirmed his participation in "Carpathian Space" festival which opens in Ivano-Frankivsk.

"Carpathian space" is not only a cultural festival. Its focus will be discussions on scientific, economic cooperation with the western region. I want to talk about the philosophy of "Culture as an engine for the economy." I am aware that there are already great achievements in the spheres of tourism, environment protection. It really opens up the region, genuineness of this culture and nature," he noted.

It is known that Ukraine, Austria, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania will be participating countries in the festival. Among the honored guests are the delegations from Azerbaijan, Georgia and Estonia.
