Ivano-Frankivsk runs “live music trolleybuses” on May 7 City Day
"Music trolleybus" will operate on a route in western Ivano-Frankivsk on its City Day, which is celebrated on May 7. Local children will perform live music there, director of the department for Culture at Ivano-Frankivsk city council Nadiya Zahurska told Ukrinform.
"All trolleybuses will be on their routes according to the schedule on City Day. Students of music schools will perform live pieces by playing bandura, accordion and bayan,"said Zahurska.
She noted that "musical trolleybuses" will run on routes along such streets as Halytska, Sich Riflemen and Independence. Music school students from three schools located in those neighborhoods will perform for public transportation passengers
Earlier, the mayor of Ivano-Frankivsk Ruslan Martsinkiv signed a decree granting free travel in trolleybuses on City Day.
