Last Ukrainian-language newspaper ends edition in Crimea

The only one Ukrainian-language all-Ukrainian public and political literature newspaper Krymska Svitlytsia has stopped publishing its weekly issues in Crimea.

The last edition was issued on March 25, the online media Krym.Realii reports.

In the article “Front within the country” it is noted that on March 14, 2016, the director general of the National newspaper and journal publication issued an order to transfer the editorial staff from Simferopol to Kyiv. According to the article, “thousands of visitors of the website of the newspaper are the best proof of a steady demand for it [the newspaper]”.
