Best Ukrainian short feature films to be shown in Kyiv today

The capital's movie theater "Kyiv" on December 23 will premiere the fourth collection of short feature films from Ukrainian New Wave project.

Selection of the best domestic films 2015 will be released in theaters by the Olexander Dovzhenko National Center and the state agency of Ukraine for movies, Ridna krayina cultural portal reports.

The project Ukrainian New Wave presents short feature films produced by directors-debutants of this year. The program traditionally features Ukrainian film directors who participated in the national and international film festivals and won awards at renowned European festivals," a statement said.

The fourth collection of Ukrainian New Wave apart from the debut films features a new work of the famous national animator Oleh Pedan titled "Attraction". In addition, the public will be able to enjoy the following movies: "Say Corn! " by director Valery Kalchenko, "The Swan " directed by Olexandr Danilenko, "Let us do it but not today"  directed by Khrystyna Syvolap, "Who tricked Kim Kuzin?" directed by Antonio Lukich, "Yin, and what to do with it" directed by Myroslav Khoroshun, "Cello" directed by Olesya Morhunets-Isayenko.

First collections movie shows were held in 2012. Since that time the premiere of new film collections are held in December and spring.
