Consulate General of Ukraine opens in Dusseldorf

Pursuant to the decision made by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and in order to optimize the consular presence of Ukraine in Germany, given the places of compact density of the Ukrainian community, starting from December 1, 2015 Consulate General of Ukraine in Dusseldorf begins its operations, while the section of Ukraine Embassy in Germany in Bonn is closed.

The Foreign Ministry of Ukraine stated in the report provided to Ukrinform.

"The Consulate General of Ukraine in Dusseldorf covers the consular district of North Rhine-Westphalia," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.

Foreign Ministry noted that priorities of the new consulate are identified as protection of rights and legal interests of citizens of Ukraine.

Office hours for citizens’ appointments for all consular issues are as follows: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9.00 to 13.00, on Tuesday - from 14.00 to 18.00. Customers with special needs have priority for service on Thursdays from 10.00 to 13.00.
