Hranitne village has no electricity, Maryinka without gas supply - Zhebrivsky
Near the village of Hranitne located on the uncontrolled territory by Ukraine authorities in Donbas a high-voltage transmission line poles have been damaged and no repair teams are allowed either Ukrainian workers nor representatives of the self-proclaimed "DPR".
Head of Donetsk military and civil administration Pavlo Zhebrivsky told TV 112 Ukraine channel.
"There are problems with the village of Hranitne. We have repaired the power lines from our side, but on the rebels’ side a power pole construction is leaning , another one fell, and they do not allow anyone to restore these poles. According to unconfirmed information, there is also stationed a Russian army terrorist unit and they do not want us to trace its location. We plan to build a bypass power line noted Zhebrivsky.
He also said that in order to supply natural gas to the villages of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka another 800 meters of gas pipeline remain to be repaired.
"For seven days we are not allowed to sweep mines and restore the pipeline and we face a problem because we planned to start supplying gas on December 1,” the governor said.
He noted another problem is a restart of a compressor station in Krasnohorivka because workers are afraid to go there.
As previously reported, the checkpoint Novotroitske suspended its operation for an hour on Wednesday because of a mortar attack conducted by rebels.
