Ukraine’s international broadcasting may appear in Australia

Australia will assist in providing access to its residents on the mainland for Ukraine’s international broadcasting.

This was agreed at the meeting of Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Yuri Stets with Ambassador of Australia to Ukraine Doug Trappett, the Ministry’s press service reports.

"Our task is to support freedom of speech. The best counterpropaganda for us is truth. However, we need the support of foreign countries to convey truth to the world. Therefore, I address you to help us with the contacts and thus provide access to Australian cable networks. In turn, I promise to do everything possible for Australia to hear and see us soon," Stets assured.

The Ambassador noted the high level of freedom of speech in Ukraine and the width of commentaries.
