Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius visited Ukraine's frontline regions.

Fedorov announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Boris Pistorius is one of the few foreign defense ministers who personally came to meet the military so close to the line of combat. This is an example of true European leadership, and today Ukraine feels this support," Fedorov said.

The ministers visited several military headquarters near the front. The military demonstrated the operational situation on the battlefield, how they use the DELTA system, plan assault operations, destroy enemy logistics, conduct reconnaissance, and coordinate different types of drones within a unified combat management system.

"Germany is actively supporting Ukraine in technological warfare. Partners have funded more than $1 billion for the development of deep strike and mid strike capabilities. Today, mid strike systematically disrupts enemy logistics. We are already carrying out about 5,000 strikes per month at a depth of 20+ kilometers and continue to scale this direction. Thanks to increased drone procurement, the number and effectiveness of strikes will grow every month," Fedorov said.

He separately highlighted support for drone assault units. According to Fedorov, Germany became the first country to support this innovative direction.

"Together with Boris Pistorius, we participated online from the frontline in the meeting of EU defense ministers chaired by Kaja Kallas. The message about the need to continue supporting Ukraine and ensure flexibility in the European credit mechanism to cover the most priority frontline requests was especially clear there," Fedorov said.

He noted the importance of showing partners the reality of war: how Ukraine is changing its strategy, how technology helps destroy the enemy and save lives. Fedorov added that thanks to Ukraine's experience, partners can already strengthen their own defense systems today.

"This is the value Ukraine provides for the protection of the democratic world. A few months ago, we presented our key priorities and strategy. Today, we are demonstrating concrete results. Our common goal is to stop Russia in Ukraine. For this, Ukraine and Europe must be strong together," he said.

He thanked Germany and personally Pistorius for the two days of work in Ukraine, for their readiness to see the reality of the war firsthand, and for decisions that are already helping destroy the enemy and save the lives of Ukrainians.
