Zelensky congratulates Magyar on beginning his term as Hungarian PM

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Peter Magyar on his appointment and the start of his work as Prime Minister of Hungary.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky announced this on social media platform X.

According to him, it is symbolic that the inauguration takes place on Europe Day.

"Ukraine is ready to deepen cooperation with Hungary and build strong relations between our countries based on good neighborliness and respect for our people," Zelensky said.

He stressed that "together, we can bring greater strength to our nations and make all of Europe stronger."

"I wish you success and good results in office!" Zelensky added.

The newly elected Prime Minister of Hungary, Peter Magyar, arrived at the country's parliament building on Saturday, May 9, and took the oath of office.
