In Jeddah, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held talks with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, outlining three priority areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Saudi Arabia.

According to Ukrinform, the Office of the President of Ukraine reported this.

“The first is the export of our Ukrainian security expertise and capabilities in air defense. The second is energy cooperation, which makes Ukraine more resilient in this difficult time. The third is the area of food security. We are working together to strengthen our peoples and our partners,” Volodymyr Zelensky noted.

The Ukrainian President emphasized that Ukraine is ready to share its experience and capabilities to build mutually beneficial cooperation with Saudi Arabia in protecting lives.

Special attention was also given to energy resilience, particularly in light of the fuel market crisis triggered by tensions around Iran and the disruption of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz.

The two sides also discussed Saudi Arabia’s potential involvement in infrastructure projects, Ukraine’s reconstruction and recovery efforts, as well as partnerships in the financial sector and other state initiatives.
